PAT Testing
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing) is a series of visual inspections and electronic tests to check electrical appliances for safety.
Who carries out the PAT inspection and testing?
As with all of our electrical services, our PAT inspections and testings are always carried out by qualified electricians.
What will I receive?
Upon completion of your PAT you will receive a report detailing the following:
- An inventory containing each appliance type, name, location and description
- A full set of test results for each appliance tested
- A full list of any failed items with an explanation of their failure
- A visible pass or fail label on each appliance detailing the inspection date, next test due and the inspector’s signature.
If you require any further advice, our qualified electrician who carried out the inspection and testing will be happy to talk you through the report and advise you regarding and further required actions.
The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 requires electrical equipment which has the potential to cause injury be maintained in a safe condition.
£90 inc VAT, £75 ex VAT.
Price starts from £75 plus VAT min charge, covers the first 40 appliances, £1+ VAT per appliance thereafter. £3.50 + VAT per fixed appliance (hand dryers etc). £3.50 + VAT per microwave radiation leakage test.

Once your install, service or repair is complete, your Fusion Engineer will talk you or your tenant through the works carried out, they will tidy up after themselves and remove any rubbish.
