Single Appliance Boiler Service
We service gas boilers throughout the North West of England and further afield.
One of our fully qualified and DBS checked, Gas Safe Engineers will check your boiler and related parts - such as the flue - are operating safely.
They will also inspect the boiler parts for wear and tear, and make sure everything is functioning as it should and running efficiently as possible.
- Visual Inspection: The engineer will visually inspect the boiler for any signs of damage, leaks, or corrosion. They'll also check the boiler's surroundings for ventilation and clearances.
- Gas Pressure Check: Ensuring the gas pressure is at the correct level to ensure proper and safe operation of the boiler. They will also carry out a Gas Rate of your appliance this procedure is carried out on a boiler to measure the amount of gas being consumed by the appliance.
- Flue Inspection: Checking the flue system for any blockages, leaks, or signs of damage. The flue is crucial for safely removing combustion gases.
- Boiler Controls and Components: Checking and testing the operation of various components such as thermostats, pressure valves, safety devices, and electronic controls.

- Seals and Gaskets: Inspecting seals and gaskets for wear and tear, replacing them if necessary to prevent leaks.
- Safety Checks: Ensuring all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly, including pressure relief valves, temperature controls, and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Water Pressure Check: Verifying the boiler's water pressure is at the recommended level to ensure proper operation.
- Testing for Leaks: Conducting checks to detect any gas or water leaks that could compromise safety or efficiency.
- Functional Testing: Testing the boiler by running it through various cycles to ensure it's functioning properly.
- Recommendations: Providing recommendations or advice to the homeowner on any necessary repairs, replacements, or improvements to ensure the boiler's optimal performance and safety.
- Certification: once the service has been completed our engineer will fill out a Gas Safety Record which will include all readings and results from the checks carried out.
How long does a boiler service take?
Usually between 30-60 minutes, depending on the type of boiler or brand and model.
However, a service could take longer if the engineer discovers a fault.
